TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. What is StyleCycle, who owns it, who is it for, and how does it work?
1.1. StyleCycle (hereinafter referred to as "StyleCycle" or the "Platform") is an online platform that provides listing and hosting services for Products offered for sale, facilitating communication and the conclusion of sale and purchase agreements for Products meeting specific criteria between Users acting as private consumers — both as sellers and buyers. The Platform provides tools that allow Users to list Products for sale, which they declare they have the right to sell (hereinafter "Sellers"). These listings are intended to enable the sale of second-hand and new Products (hereinafter "Products") exclusively through the Platform between third-party contracting parties who voluntarily use it for this purpose, without the Platform itself being a party to the agreement concluded between those parties.
1.2. The Platform is intended for adult individuals with full legal capacity (Users acting as Sellers and Users wishing to purchase Products for personal use, hereinafter "Buyers"). These parties will be referred to collectively as "Users" where provisions apply to both categories, or individually as "Sellers" or "Buyers" where specific provisions apply to each. The Platform may also be used by individuals or legal entities for purposes related to commercial, business, craft, or professional activities.
1.3. The Platform is owned by the company "DELMA I.K.E.", registered in Athens at Skoufa 30, Athens 10673, VAT number 801123835, Tax Office KEFODE Athens, GEMI registration number 149646903000, telephone 2103624248 (hereinafter the "Company").
1.4. Browsing the Platform and/or conducting transactions are subject to these Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy, which together form a unified whole. Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before visiting, using, or creating an account on the Platform. By using the Platform, you unconditionally accept all Terms & Conditions. These Terms & Conditions, including any future amendments, constitute the contractual framework governing our relationship at all times. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, please refrain from using the Platform.
1.5. Regarding content uploaded by Users, the Platform solely performs technical, automatic, and neutral storage of the information and content posted by each User. The Platform is not a party to the sale and purchase agreement concluded exclusively between Seller and Buyer, and assumes no obligations arising from that agreement or in relation to the Product. The User acknowledges that the Platform is not a party to any sale agreement between Buyer and Seller. Each party is solely responsible for the timely and proper fulfilment of their contractual obligations.
1.6. Listings are permitted in the following Product categories (indicative): Clothing, Bags, Shoes, Accessories, Jewellery. If any category does not include sufficient products, it will be inactive and will not appear in the StyleCycle menu. StyleCycle reserves the right to add further categories or to temporarily or permanently suspend any category.
1.7. Direct communication between Seller and Buyer regarding the sale of a Product listed on StyleCycle — whether in person or through any digital means outside the Platform — is strictly prohibited.
1.8. Listing and selling the same Product (same model, colour, size) more than 3 times by one User is strictly prohibited.
2. What is the structure of the Platform?
2.1. To help you navigate, the Platform includes the following sub-sections:
- Information on how the Platform works, per User category (Seller and Buyer — Why to buy / How to sell). This section provides general informational content and does not create legally binding obligations.
- Access to content by Product categories, including search tools to assist navigation.
2.2. These sub-sections and search tools are provided solely for your convenience and do not take into account personalised criteria. The Company bears no responsibility for automated results generated by these tools, nor for the suitability of Products for your intended use.
2.3. Newsletter subscription: You may choose to receive newsletters with general commercial communications from the Platform. Subscription is available whether or not you hold a User account on StyleCycle (or MomCycle). You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email. Upon opting out, your email will be removed from the newsletter list, though the Platform may continue to contact you regarding transactions conducted through the Platform.
3. Do I need to create an account to buy or sell?
A User account is required to sell a Product. No account is necessary for browsing. Account creation is only required once — subsequent visits allow login with the same credentials. As a buyer, you may place an order either with a registered account or as a guest.
4. How do I create an Account?
4.1. User Account: To open an account, navigate to "LOGIN" then "REGISTER" on the homepage. Enter your username, email address, and a password, then click "REGISTER". A confirmation email will be sent requiring you to activate your account within one week — otherwise your account will be automatically deleted. You may also register via your Facebook account. By submitting your registration, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy.
4.2. Account dashboard: Registered Users can receive notifications about favourite Products, orders, and offers — via the Platform and by email or SMS. Account details may be updated at any time through the account settings.
4.3. Sellers may view their sales data (Products, Payments, and Offers) through the dedicated dashboard tool provided by the Platform for convenience only. The Company accepts no responsibility for the accuracy or timeliness of these notifications.
4.4. Accuracy of data: You are required to provide accurate, truthful, complete, and up-to-date information at registration and in all subsequent interactions with the Platform. Usernames must not infringe third-party rights or reference commercial brands or trademarks.
4.5. Password protection: You are solely responsible for keeping your password confidential and secure. Do not share it with third parties. Notify the Company immediately at info@stylecycle.gr if you suspect unauthorised access. You may also receive a one-time password (OTP) at your registered email address.
4.6. Account deletion: You may deactivate your account at any time by emailing info@stylecycle.gr. Once any pending orders are completed, your data will be removed from our database, except where retention is required by law. Account deletion constitutes termination of the agreement between us.
4.7. Company rights: The Company reserves the right to refuse account creation or delete an existing account at any time and without liability, including in cases of Terms & Conditions violations, third-party rights infringement, offensive usernames, or complaints from other Users. In such cases, a notification email will be sent to the User.
4.8. Account nature: Registration and account creation are free, personal, non-transferable, and non-assignable.
5. Seller — Process for listing a Product for sale
5.1. Listing a Product: To list a Product for sale, the Seller must accurately complete all required fields including category, product type, brand, gender, size, colour, material, condition, sale price (with automatic commission deduction shown), original purchase price, title, and description in Greek or English, along with photos and videos showing the Product's actual condition. Sellers are strongly advised to disclose all relevant details to avoid disputes. The Platform reserves the right to suggest a lower price if the listed price appears disproportionate to the Product's value, though the final pricing decision remains with the Seller. The Platform will approve listings based on product type, condition, description quality, and photo quality.
5.2. Seller obligations and liability:
- The Seller warrants that all listed Product characteristics are accurate and that the Product's actual condition matches the description.
- The Seller bears sole responsibility for the accuracy of Product descriptions, including any defects and agreed properties.
- Any defects beyond normal second-hand wear must be specifically described.
- The Seller must only list Products they have the right to sell.
- The Seller must keep listed Products available for the entire listing period. Products may be removed at any time if no longer available.
- Photos must be lawful, accurately reflect the Product's condition, and comply with applicable legislation.
- Photos must not contain identifiable persons. Where a face appears, the Platform will automatically remove it.
- Counterfeit, replica, or non-authentic Products are strictly prohibited.
- By listing content, the Seller grants the Platform a licence to reproduce, publish, and distribute such content for Platform promotion purposes.
5.3. Platform rights regarding listings: The Platform may (but is not obliged to) review photos and descriptions, reject listings at any time without explanation, remove listings that violate these Terms or third-party rights, and suggest lower prices where appropriate. The Platform may also verify Product authenticity following complaints.
5.4. Seller obligations upon sale: Once a purchase order is received, the Seller must verify Product availability and print the pre-filled shipping label to notify the courier. If unavailable, the Seller must click "UNAVAILABLE" in the dashboard or in the reminder email (sent after 3 business days of inactivity). The Seller is responsible for appropriate packaging and bears liability for any damage caused by poor packaging.
6. Buyer — Product purchase process
Product selection: Upon entering the Platform, browse by category or use the search tool. Clicking a Product shows the Seller's photos and description.
Favourites: Registered Users may save Products to a Favourites list. Note that adding a Product to Favourites does not reserve it — it remains available for purchase by others. Prices and availability may change.
Add to cart / Make an offer: You may add Products to your cart or submit an offer at a different price by clicking "MAKE AN OFFER". The Seller has 24 hours to accept or counter-offer. If no response is received within 24 hours, the original price applies. Seller and Buyer may communicate only through the "COMMENTS" field on the Product page. While an offer is pending, the Product remains visible and may be purchased by another Buyer at the original price.
6.4.1. Order completion: Proceed to checkout by entering your delivery address, shipping method, and payment details (credit/debit card). If your billing address differs from the delivery address, you may enter it separately.
6.4.2. The order amount and shipping costs are held as a guarantee in an escrow account with Stripe (StyleCycle's payment partner) until the purchase is accepted by the Buyer.
6.4.3. By placing an order, you submit a pre-contractual purchase proposal to the Seller, subject to availability verification. The Platform's automated order confirmation email is not an acceptance of purchase — the Platform is not a party to the sale agreement.
6.5. Your details are shared with the Seller solely to enable Product shipment via the Platform's courier partner.
6.6. The Seller verifies Product availability following the process described in section 5.4(i).
6.7. Sale agreement: The sale is concluded when the Seller notifies the courier company within 3 business days and the Platform sends a confirmation email to the Buyer. If the Product is unavailable, the Seller must click "UNAVAILABLE" in the dashboard. If no update is received within 7 business days, the transaction is cancelled and the Buyer is refunded.
7. Product shipping process
7.1. Packaging: The Seller is responsible for packaging the Product appropriately. Any damage caused by inadequate packaging is the Seller's sole responsibility.
7.2. Courier notification: The Seller must print the pre-filled shipping label provided by StyleCycle and notify the courier company within 3 business days of the sale agreement. If the Platform has not received confirmation from the courier within 3 business days, a reminder email will be sent to the Seller. If the Product is reported as unavailable, or if 7 business days pass without any update, the transaction is cancelled and the Buyer is refunded.
7.3. The confirmation email to the Seller includes a link to the courier's website with the Platform code, enabling the Seller to arrange collection. All communication between the Seller and the courier is at the Seller's sole responsibility. The Platform accepts no liability in this regard.
8. Pricing and Platform fees
8.1. All Product prices are displayed in euros and include the Product value and the Platform's commission.
8.2. Prices are set by the Seller at their sole discretion. The Company bears no responsibility for pricing decisions or the correspondence between price and product condition.
8.3. The Platform is paid via split payment: upon release of funds from the escrow account, the total amount (including shipping, commission, and Seller payment) is divided. StyleCycle's commission and shipping costs are deposited to StyleCycle's account; the remaining amount is transferred to the Seller. The Platform's commission is 13% of the Product value, plus shipping costs.
8.5. Shipping costs vary depending on destination, weight, and volume of the Product and are added at checkout.
8.6. The Product price is final. Sellers may not charge additional fees for any reason (e.g. packaging). The Company reserves the right to amend its pricing and commission policy at any time, with prior notice published on the Platform.
8.7–8.8. Buyers may submit price offers per section 6.3. Both Sellers and Buyers acknowledge and accept the Platform's commission as fair and proportionate to the services provided.
9. Payment methods and process
9.1. The only accepted payment methods are credit or debit card, PayPal, and Klarna, processed through Stripe. Stripe is an internationally licensed Payment Institution, PCI-DSS certified, and supports 3D Secure authentication for Visa & Mastercard.
9.2. Payment completion requires two steps:
- Seller KYC verification: Each Seller must complete Stripe's KYC process by providing a copy of their ID, bank account details (IBAN and account holder name), and cardholder name. This is required to receive payment.
- Buyer acceptance: Following receipt and inspection of the Product, the Buyer has 24 hours to raise a defect claim. If no claim is raised within 24 hours, the purchase is deemed accepted and the escrow funds are released to the Seller.
9.3. The Platform reserves the right to modify payment arrangements at any time. Current payment methods are always published on the Platform before any transaction.
9.5. Payment to the Seller is released once: (i) the Seller has notified the courier, (ii) the Buyer has not raised a defect claim within 48 hours of delivery, and (iii) the Buyer's claim (if any) has not been upheld. If the Buyer's claim is upheld, the purchase is cancelled and the amount is refunded.
10. Obligations of both parties upon completion of purchase
10.1. Seller: The Seller must contact the courier within 3 business days of sale confirmation and notify the Platform of the shipping date. If not contacted within 7 business days, the transaction is cancelled and the Buyer is refunded. The Seller must also complete the Stripe KYC process.
10.2. Buyer: Upon receiving the Product, the Buyer must inspect it within 24 hours for defects. If no defect claim is submitted within 24 hours, the purchase is automatically accepted and the escrow funds are released. The Buyer acknowledges that Products are second-hand and may show normal wear.
11. Product delivery
11.1. Products are delivered via the Platform's courier partner to the address provided at checkout. The Platform reserves the right to change its delivery policy or courier partner at any time.
11.2. The Seller must contact the courier within 3 business days of sale confirmation. Delivery time from dispatch is 2–5 business days, depending on the delivery address.
11.3. Shipping costs vary by destination, weight, and volume and are added to the Product price at checkout.
11.4. Products will be delivered to you or to an authorised person at the delivery address. The courier reserves the right to refuse delivery to a building entrance or outdoor area.
11.5. Defect inspection and returns process: Upon receipt, the Buyer must inspect the Product within 24 hours. If a defect is found, the Buyer must submit a detailed email to info@stylecycle.gr within 48 hours, including at least 3 clear photographs of the defect and a specific description.
Vague or undocumented claims will not be accepted. The Platform will compare the Buyer's photos to the Seller's original listing photos to assess the claim.
If no defect is confirmed, the purchase proceeds normally. If a defect is confirmed, the Platform will instruct the Buyer to return the Product via the designated courier. The Buyer must notify the Platform of the shipment within 5 days of return approval, including the tracking number. Upon confirmation, a full refund will be issued (minus the original shipping cost). Return shipping is covered by the Platform.
Returns are accepted only through the above process and exclusively for the reasons stated. If no action is taken within the stated period, the purchase is deemed unconditionally accepted.
The Platform's assessment is procedural only and does not constitute a legal ruling. Users retain all legal rights.
11.6–11.7. The Company cannot guarantee timely delivery by the Seller or courier, and is not liable for delays caused by force majeure, strikes, or other events beyond its control. Both parties are responsible for ensuring their contact and address details are accurate and up to date.
12. Right of withdrawal
As both Seller and Buyer are acting as private consumers, the statutory right of withdrawal from distance contracts does not apply to purchases made through the Platform. This does not affect any other rights you may have under applicable law.
13. Liability of the parties
13.1. Each Seller and Buyer bears full and exclusive responsibility for the proper fulfilment of their respective obligations under the sale agreement in accordance with the Civil Code and these Terms. The Company is not a party to the sale agreement and bears no liability for its performance. Any disputes should be addressed directly between the parties through the "Comments" field on the Product page.
13.2. Users acknowledge that Products listed on the Platform are primarily second-hand and have undergone normal wear as shown in the Seller's photos and description. Disputes should be based on actual defects or the absence of agreed properties not reflected in the listing.
14. Limitation of liability
14.1. The Company is not a party to the sale agreement and bears no liability for the proper or timely performance of obligations by either party, or for any resulting loss or damage. The Company is not liable for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, lost profits, reputational harm, or the cost of substitute Products.
14.2. The Company is not responsible for discrepancies between Product photos and actual condition, for defects beyond those described by the Seller, or for the authenticity of the Seller's ownership claim.
14.3. While the Company makes every reasonable effort to ensure uninterrupted Platform access, it accepts no liability for service interruptions, viruses, or unauthorised third-party interference.
14.4–14.6. All content and Products are provided "as is". Use of the Platform is at your own risk. Where liability is established, the Company's liability is limited to the value of the Product in question. In cases of negligence, liability is capped at the Product's sale price.
15. User obligations
In addition to obligations stated elsewhere in these Terms, Users must:
- Conduct all transactions exclusively through the Platform.
- Act in good faith and in accordance with applicable law.
- Not use the Platform for commercial solicitation or advertising.
- Not use the Platform in a manner contrary to its intended purpose or harmful to the Company's reputation.
- Comply with applicable Greek tax legislation. The Platform bears no responsibility for Users' tax compliance.
16. Access licence and restrictions
16.1. You are granted a non-exclusive licence to access and personally use the Platform for the purposes described in these Terms. This licence does not permit any download, modification, commercial use, reproduction, distribution, or sublicensing of the Platform or its content.
16.2–16.4. You may not use framing, meta-tags, or hidden text referencing the Company's trademarks without written consent. Any unauthorised use immediately terminates your licence. Interference with Platform functionality, transmission of malicious software, or any unlawful use is strictly prohibited and may be reported to the relevant authorities.
16.5–16.8. Use of the Platform is at your own risk and through your own means. The Platform may link to third-party websites over which the Company has no control and for which it bears no responsibility. The Company may remove linking permissions at any time without notice or liability.
17. Social media
The Platform may offer interaction with social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.). The Company does not control social media services and is not responsible for their use of your personal data. Please review the privacy policies of each social media platform before using these features.
18. Intellectual property
18.1. All intellectual property rights in the Platform's software and content belong to the Company or to legitimate rights holders and are protected by applicable law. No licence or consent is granted to use any trademarks displayed on the Platform.
18.2. Content may be stored, printed, and displayed for personal use only. Publication, reproduction, distribution, modification, or commercial exploitation of any Platform content without the Company's written consent is prohibited.
18.3. Trademarks appearing on the Platform are the property of their respective owners and are used solely for descriptive purposes. No endorsement or affiliation is implied.
19. Platform rights and Notice & Takedown procedure
19.1. The Platform reserves the right to: review content following complaints; remove listings that violate these Terms, applicable law, or third-party rights; temporarily or permanently block any User without prior notice or stated reason; and delete any User or Product at its discretion.
19.2. Notice & Takedown: Reports may be submitted to info@stylecycle.gr. All reports must be specific, substantiated, and lawful, identifying the particular Product and User concerned. Unsubstantiated or abusive reports are not accepted. Any damages caused to the Company by a third party's report are the responsibility of that reporting party.
20. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with Greek law. By accepting these Terms, you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Athens, Greece.
21. Contractual framework
21.1. The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication. Users will be notified via a pop-up message upon login or by direct communication. The Company may also update, upgrade, restrict, or suspend Platform content, appearance, or functionality at any time, and may discontinue operations without prior notice.
21.2. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
21.3–21.4. Failure to exercise any right does not constitute a waiver. Section headings are for reference only and do not affect interpretation.
22. Prohibited Products (indicative list — subject to change)
The Platform may prohibit the sale of any Product or category at any time and without stating reasons. Users are obliged to comply with applicable law in all cases. The following are indicatively prohibited:
- Defective items
- Items that are severely damaged, broken, or torn
- Non-functioning items
- Counterfeit or replica Products
- Handmade, non-branded Products
